Based in Antwerp Belgium, Howlin' has been producing high quality Scottish knitwear (in Scotland) since 1981. Well, not quite - the label Howlin' launched in 2009, as an offshoot of the original operation. Utilizing traditional manufacturing techniques and highly skilled craftspeople, Howlin' is able to produce exceptional quality knitwear in a variety of unique and playful styles.

This is our very favorite non-specific "holiday" sweater. It's basically all-purpose for a few months of the year, because it's not actually a holiday pattern, but it feels very appropriate in any situation when a holiday sweater would be required. But the best part is that it looks great even when completely removed of the context of the holidays, just a dang handsome sweater.

Knit up in a soft and luxurious 100% Scottish wool, local to the area it's manufactured in. Fully knit and hand finished in Scotland, it's soft and comfortable enough to wear over just a tee, and makes for an excellent outer and mid-layer.

Runs true to size. Hand wash in lukewarm water, lay flat to dry.
